Epiderma, number one in the industry thanks to investments in its brand

With a network of 22 medical-aesthetic clinics in Quebec and Ontario, Epiderma has invested heavily in the value of its brand over the past 17 years. In a world where competition is fierce, companies that do not make this investment are at risk of losing their place or even worse, disappearing from the marketplace. But it is not enough to merely invest, it is also necessary to quantify value.

“A brand is not just advertising; it is the entire customer experience that must meet the aspirations and requirements of the client.”

Pierre Montminy, president of Epiderma

According a poll conducted by Léger, Epiderma is number one in Quebec in aided awareness and the company in the medical-aesthetic care industry with the best added value. In this study, Epiderma was named by 91% of respondents, compared to 21% for its closest rival. Recognized for having the highest propensity to invest in the same services offered by its competitors, Epiderma’s customers confirm they see the added value.

“A brand is not just advertising; it is the entire customer experience that must meet the aspirations and requirements of the client. We have invested heavily in developing our network, in our efficient and safe protocols, in training our employees and, of course, in communicating. Today, thanks to these investments and surveys like these, we are able to quantify the value of our brand and compare it with our competitors. We are very proud to say that for Quebecers, Epiderma is by far the number one brand in medical-aesthetic care,” said Pierre Montminy, president of Epiderma.

“At Léger, we support companies in many aspects of monitoring their business. In Quebec, however, too few companies will quantify the value of their brand equity. This type of survey allows managers like Epiderma to better adapt their communications strategies, operations and even prices, “said Jean-Marc Léger, president of Leger.

With more than 2.2 million treatments administered, Epiderma is unrivaled.  Resolutely turned toward the future, the company is staying abreast of market trends and being proactive in managing its brand. The goal is to maintain its position as the leader in the medical-aesthetic care industry in Quebec and Canada. With the planned opening of two more clinics in 2018 and the association with dermatology clinics that began in 2017, its number one position in the marketplace is unlikely to be challenged.
