Beauty routine for men

Many men have a skin care routine that is too minimal or completely non-existent. Yet a good beauty routine is the cornerstone of good hygiene and should be as important as maintaining good physical and mental health. Well-groomed skin means fewer breakouts, irritations and redness, and the visible signs of aging will be delayed. You’ll thank us in 10 years!

So gentlemen, here is your new daily ritual.

STEP 1

CLEANSE

Cleansing your skin is essential, morning and night. This step removes impurities and oils naturally produced by your body, ridding your skin of external pollutants and any other debris, sunscreens or products you have applied. A good daily cleansing helps to maintain a balanced PH. Caution: washing your face more than twice a day is not recommended as it contributes to increased sebum production.

STEP 2

EXFOLIATE

The use of an exfoliator allows you to unclog your pores and eliminate dead skin cells as well as any dirt that obstructs your skin. In addition, it can help you avoid ingrown hairs caused by shaving. However, you should not use this product every day. Once or twice a week is enough.

STEP 3

MOISTURIZE AND TREAT

The last step, but certainly not the least: moisturizing and treating. Many factors can contribute to dry skin or different problems, including shaving, which often causes irritation. To fight against skin dryness or blemishes, but also against the signs of aging, the product chosen is a crucial element. This step must be done morning and evening.

*IMPORTANT REMINDER

While days in the sun are always enjoyable, it is important to protect your skin 365 days a year with a sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of 30 or higher as recommended by Health Canada. This will limit the damage caused by the sun, such as premature aging of the skin.

+ BONUS STEP

The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the face, except for the lips, which means it needs special attention. Using a cream specially designed for the eye area will, among other things, visibly relax the eyes.
