Before your laser hair removal session, we recommend shaving the treatment area. Shaving helps prepare the skin by reducing hair length, allowing the laser to better target the hair follicles. Avoid hair removal methods that remove hair from the root (such as waxing or electrolysis) for at least four weeks before treatment. Only shaving should be used during the treatment period.
Is laser hair removal painful?
The pain level varies depending on individual sensitivity, hair density, and the treated area. Most clients describe the sensation as mild warmth or light tingling. Some areas may be more sensitive, but the discomfort is usually brief and tolerable. Avoid any sun exposure for at least three weeks following your treatment. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 45 or higher) daily. Two weeks before your session, avoid sun exposure and tanning. In the 72 hours after treatment, protect treated areas from direct sun exposure to preserve the skin and optimize results.
