PRP: Your Natural Solution for Alopecia

A Natural Solution to Improve Hair Growth: The PRP treatment uses plasma extracted from your own blood to stimulate hair growth. By targeting concerns such as baldness and alopecia, this non-surgical procedure offers natural results for denser, healthier hair.

Say Goodbye to Hair Loss: Thanks to its regenerative properties, PRP revitalizes and heals dysfunctional cells in the scalp. The growth factors present in your plasma are activated, reducing hair loss and promoting regrowth. Over time, each hair becomes thicker and stronger.

Increase Your Hair Density: By extending the life cycle of hair follicles, PRP treatment enhances hair density and improves the quality of your scalp. You can expect an average increase of 25% in hair density.

To discover how PRP can meet your specific needs, we invite you to schedule an appointment at the clinic for a personalized assessment.

    Information

How does a PRP treatment for hair loss work?

The PRP treatment for hair loss begins with a consultation with a doctor. During this session, your health will be assessed, and a personalized treatment plan will be developed based on your specific needs.

The treatment starts with a small blood draw. This sample is then centrifuged to separate the different components of the blood, allowing for the isolation of platelet-rich plasma. The plasma is then injected in several locations directly into the areas affected by hair loss.

The first treatment aims to stabilize hair loss. The second and third treatments are intended to reverse hair miniaturization.

After the treatment, it is essential to follow the post-treatment recommendations provided by your doctor to optimize results.

    FAQ
    • How many PRP hair treatment sessions are necessary to see visible results?

The first results are generally visible after the third session, with gradual improvement as the treatments progress. For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3 PRP sessions for men and 4 sessions for women, spaced 4 weeks apart. However, each person responds differently to the treatment, and the frequency of sessions can be adjusted based on the individual response of your hair to PRP.

    • Are the results of PRP for hair permanent?

The results of PRP for hair are not permanent, as natural degradation will occur over time. The treatment helps stimulate hair growth and reduce hair loss, but the natural aging process, hormonal imbalances, or other external factors may influence hair health again. This is why maintenance treatments are recommended to maintain long-term effects.

    • What are the side effects associated with PRP hair treatment?

PRP treatment is generally well tolerated, as it uses the patient’s own blood plasma, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions. Bruising, redness, itching, swelling, or pain may occur and persist for 2 to 5 days after the procedure. If you experience pain or discomfort, you can take Tylenol® or another product containing acetaminophen, following the instructions that come with the product. It is best to avoid applying ice to the treated area after injections, as ice can act as an anti-inflammatory and interfere with the healing process.

How much does a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment cost?

The quantity of product to be injected is always the physician's decision. A deposit of $30 is required when booking your appointment. This amount will be refunded when you attend your clinic visit.
