Before the treatment, a medical consultation is conducted to assess the patient’s health and perform a thorough examination of the legs.

During the treatment, an ultrasound is used to visualize the veins and guide the injection. This step allows for precise localization of the varicose veins to be treated and assesses blood flow in the affected veins. The doctor uses the ultrasound device to guide the injection needle to the targeted veins, then injects a foam or sclerosing medication directly into the veins. This treatment leads to the gradual closure of the veins.

Most patients can resume their normal activities immediately after the treatment, although some redness or swelling may persist for a few days.
