Skin tag removal at Epiderma
Targeted treatments, complete solutions
A skin tag is a small outgrowth of skin, sometimes flesh-coloured and sometimes pigmented. It can appear anywhere on the body, but is most often found in areas where the skin folds—on the eyelids, neck, underarms, bikini line and under the breasts. Because it can be difficult to distinguish a skin tag from a wart, beauty mark or potentially dangerous mole, it’s recommended to consult a physician and not attempt to remove it yourself.
At Epiderma, we remove skin tags using a process called cauterization. A physician will examine the skin tag and then remove it using an instrument that looks like a small pair of tweezers. The treatment lasts 10 to 15 minutes and requires no recovery time. The skin tag is removed without burning the skin, without any scars and there are no side effects.
