COVID-19 – Preventative Measures

Network News
Make an appointment

Dear Clients,

In light of the constantly changing situation regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19), Epiderma is committed to actively protecting you, as well as our staff members. As such, we are following the recommandations issued by the governments of Québec and Ontario.

In accordance with the standard procedures outlined in our Clinical Standards Guidebook, handwashing and regular disinfection of surfaces and working areas have been increased, thus reinforcing the best preventative measures to limit the spread of the virus.

All Epiderma Clinics* in Québec and Ontario will continue to operate and to honour our clients’ appointments. However, should you present any cold or flu symptoms including fever, cough, dyspnea (breathing problems) sore throat or expectoration, we ask that you do not come to your appointment and notify us by calling 1-877-EPIDERMA.  No cancellation charges will apply. Any clients returning from a trip outside Canada as of March 12, 2020, or who have come in direct contact with someone returning from a trip, should not come in for their appointments.

We also ask that you limit the people accompanying you during your treatments (friends, family). At the time of your appointment, we will try to limit your time in the waiting room by showing you directly to your treatment room. Additionally, we have removed all the magazines generally available for our clients. You will also find Purell hand sanitizer gel on site.

All staff members returning from abroad, i.e. arriving from any country other than Canada, or who present symptoms of infection, will be placed in isolation at home for 14 days.

Public Health Authorities in Québec and Ontario, as well as our own Medical Directors, are actively following the Covid-19 situation. Currently, the risk of contracting the virus is considered low, but we will continue to act in conjunction with the governments, and follow their recommendations with a focus on prevention and public health and safety. Our main objective remains the safety of our clients and our staff members.
